Detailed Description

the isochronous cycle of one pipe: the slots a session rotates through, each carrying the bus frame it is scheduled for, its request size and the lines its micro frames hold.

A cycle is as long as the rate needs to come out even (ticks()): a sample rate that divides the frame rate takes one tick, 44.1 kHz takes ten. The tick owns the slots - it writes an out slot a lead of frames ahead of the wire and reads an in slot behind it, a completion counting alone (dxd/CLAUDE.md, "Isoc scheduling").
